Well went up to Ravenshoe and did some trails there the day was hot the bugs were out and all in all a great day. here is a photo humping over a few logs. Great place for a few hours of riding. Any bike with 4 to 5.5 is enough..There is a few man made stunts to do but mainly its a tight place with many turns.

Took these out to Albion Hills what a blast..The Stakh handled great climbs like nothing and descended the rutted single track with no complants

Well its winter and now time to rebuild them bikes....Took apart the forks and all the parts of the bike....Getting them ready for next year....

On both my bikes i replaced the brakes with Hayes Stroker trails and new dot 5.1 brake fluid which really improve the crispness of the brakes as well as they react faster..

I rebuild my own forks and do not use the standard oils that are from Fox i use Motul products and Redline...Anyhow with those fluids i get a buttery improvement with not stick. Anyhow new cables (I use the low friction cables from Sram) and some new rubber...This year i am using all specialized tires Captain Control on the Stakh1 and Eskar S-works on the Maadh1...A few more Titanium parts for my bikes and there weights drop a bit more...

A complete cleaning on all the parts and new greases and lubes on all the pivots as well as a proper cleaning in the cassette and freehub....Remember to use only approve lubricants in the freehub....Shimano has the correct lube for that about $14.00 for that, but well worth it...It works better than synthetic oils that some people use.

Check out Opus and there new 2009 bikes the new Maadh1 has a neat paint job.
