im 5'10" and 146 lbs and i bench -225 lbs (pinkbike weight) -115 lbs (real weight)
hahah finally some truth to this thread, most of these kids probably go over to their little machine and put it on the max and see if they can lift it up a bit, then go to pinkbike add about 30 pounds and call it their max bench press to try and impress everyone about how strong they are..... in order to call it your maxx go to the FREEWEIGHT part of your gym and try it there, its much harder, then we shall see how much you can lift, dont forget you have to sets aswell
yeah i weight 140 and i can bench around 140 for like 10 reps but with a controlled bench press machine i can do 180-200 for about 10 reps, they are two extreamly different things.
Well, since most people think everyone is full of lies, I'm going to post a vid. Seeing as how I just had surgery on dec. 14, and was coming off of a previous surgery, I will expect a 185-200lb max bench. I currently weigh 153lbs due to the weight I lost from the 2 surgeries and am 5'11.
Bets please? I will gladly take your money.
Also, I will guarantee a legpress of 4 45's on each side easy, any takers?

A couple pages back your were saying how you could do like 245 for bench and stuff, whats that about? and 4 45's on each side really isnt that much if you can bench 200. My max bench so far has been 225 but i can leg press 6 plates each side for 7 reps on my third set. I think you need to work your legs more, also when you work your legs it releases growth hormone to the rest of your body so if you've got a weaker body part that needs to catch up you should work that with your legs.

It could be the fact that I had 2 surgeries since then. I will do 7 on each side if you want. I just put that up there since I havent been to the gym in about 3-4 months, (other than the few times I posted on here to give updated numbers), have lost 20lbs in 4 months due to the surgeries. Give me some numbers that you want me to work with and I'll post them.
Also, the 245 was when I was going to the gym. Give me 4 months or so on that and I will be doing that again. The numbers I posted are estimated numbers that I KNOW I can do (hence "easy"). Of course I will try higher weights.
6'4 weight 175, max bench 290. My usual bench routine is 135-10 reps, 225-8 reps 245-4 reps, 265-2 reps, 275-1 rep. Tried 300 got right up before to the the breaking point when it gets easy, but couldn't quite get it (this was when I was fresh). So my best estimate for when I am fresh is 290.
Wow i suck... i never did more than 140 i think... Though i've never done bench that much.
I'm 5ft9 145 lbs.
Though i can do 600-650 lbs on leg press about 15 times... well last year i could. Probably not now since i haven't biked in a while and haven't worked out for ever.
Though how much can you guys curl? I do like 60-70lbs with bars on the curls abour 7 times.
