Bikecheck: Michel Plonka

After riding an ILL Bike Peanut frame for the past year, Michel recently put together a new Candy frame. We've been told before that bikechecks containing only a specs list and pictures don't give enough information, so this one contains more feedback from the rider about the products he uses. Here's some words from Michel about his current setup:

"There are some specific parts on my bike that I ride for a long time now because I think they're perfect for me. I always use the NS district bars, Maxxis DTH tires and that one kind of wellgo plastic pedals that every brand uses with their logo on it. I also wanted to get Cult Waffle grips but they were out of stock so I opted for the Animals instead, and decided to try flanges for no particular reason. I rode a peanut frame for the past year, it's an awesome street machine, small, super easy to hop and spin around. I decided to try a Candy because it's a little bigger and the geometry seemed better for jumps and fast riding and it's been really good so far. I've been riding LHD for a long time now and the only thing that bothered me about getting a frame with MTB spacing was that there's no LHD MTB hubs on the market. After some research, I found out that Chosen make one, so I bought it and it seems solid. Really stoked about the bike so far!"
