 After looking into this more it looks like your S-Link is correct. I attached a link to the manual. See page 8. The Shock Eye-to-Eye: 241mm (9.5”) should be this.

 Yes and I've looked at that particular page of the manual. I had another Demo owner who has serviced his and many others and he says that the shock is needing a rebuild as he and my friend took it apart and found everything to be as it should on the frame while the shock itself is needing the work.

 From what I can tell from the picture your “S-Link” looks like it is upside down.

 default shock length (eye to eye) in inches - 9.5 x 3 ... in mm is 241mm x 76mm...

 original shock length for the demo is 9.5 x 3.. check your shock length..

 Mm's? Yes it is too close. No I don't why. Trying to get it worked out and corrected. Any ideas?
