 They're fun for commuting. Especially now I leave mine in the service shop at work, so it's not going anywhere.

 That was it's main purpose initially, until I was forced off the mountain bike for a couple of weeks trying to get my frame sorted, I discovered road riding (real rides not commutes) can be a lot of fun, and you can get a steadier leg burn going on the road vs the mountain.
