The Maple Syrup trail, is a very technical trail (black diamond). It's perfect for hardcore Enduro riders. Some sections of the trail are so technical they could be part of a downhill track. There are some steep climbs which you can't ride with a DH bike and therefore the trail suits best with enduro riders. The trail was very dusty when I rode it. I had almost no grip because the trail conditions where so dry. Some sections were so sketchy and so narrow that my pedals or my handlebars almost didn't fit between the trenches or the trees. I really liked the rocky descents and the wooden features. I exceeded all my expectations on this trail and raised my comfort zone, that's for sure.
