This is the parking from where I start my rides in the Red Dirt (region/zone) trail network between the villages Esch-sur-Alzette and Kayl. The Red Dirt is just a nickname for the (zone) trail network, because there is iron in the ground which colors the dirt red. This zone was a mining zone back in the day but now it's used for outdoor activities.
