This picture got me to build my new bike around the surge frame and also solved me the seatpost problem!

Yeah, had about 5 or 6 drops, that's why I've got a top guide now. I've not ridden it on anything rough since I fitted the guide, but that should be enough to stop it.

I'm thinking of going on a 1x9 on the Intense, and putting on a bash for security.
The XTR has pretty good spring so I didn't experience dropped chains except on some stairs hucking
We'll see. I'm gonna get the RF rinf and run it eith a chain guide a bit untill I sell the chainguide and buy a bash.
