That's a lot of bike for a 12 year old! Hope he's gonna DH that thing and generally have a lot of fun razzing around.

He is a lucky Lad!! I only needed the extra small frame for him! I had just about everything else, spec: Saint Cranks/FSA chainring/ X9 Shifter/ Xt mech/ Hope Pro hubs/Mavic Ex729 rims/Avid elixir 5 with 203mm rotors F+R/Funn Stem/Ethirteen chain guide/Raceface bars/Rockshox Domain 2012 with extra soft spring!

he has been riding BMX/Trail and some Dh now for about 2 years, Has no fear! just needs more awareness and skills so hoping this is going to fix that! Keep your eye out in a few years!

Kool Kona!!!! keep an eye on that rear brake... that's a pretty tall stack of spacers...little bit too much.

Cheers its an old pic! bike just getting sprayed at the minute and has a new rear hanger now thanks.. always keeping my bikes serviced and never had a issue with spacers to be honest though! just looks a bit funny without the right adapter plus my son don't slam it around too much at the minute.

yeah ---- i have done that same thing several times with some of my personal bikes ... never quite that much though.. that always sketched me out. even more so with the fork since there seems to be a lot more load force involved
