hmmm often topic, I don´t care, I care about persons not nations, but it is understandable when big percentage of the goods imported to Czech is from Poland, then you simply hear it more often. Szukac means to f*ck, so yes it has :-D

How do you say the barking sound in Czech? In Poland we say: "hał hał", or "hau hau". Here's an example www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEWasRREDcs

we say "štěkat" but she usually does that only for command

Yes, it's the same in Polish: "szczekać". Probably it's pronounced in similar way too, but what I meant is the very sound itself, not a verb for producing the sound. It is usually different in every country, or even region, how people try to write down the sounds. You can't find it in any dictionary. It's kind of a tiny part of pop culture. In Poland we say "hau, hau", and if you try to read it in your native way, it should resemble a dog's very voice itself. If I should use a pro term for this, it is called onomatopoeia. A word or a syllable that resembles a natural sound or any sound from surroundings. You can say "brum brum" for a car sound. It's like you were to write a comic story / cartoon for a Czech newspaper about the dog and what would you write in the cartoon bubble to let readers know the dog is barking?

Thanks. The language is so similar, but I often have problems with understanding people in Prague. I like Czech people, the country and beer. One thing I don't understand above all is why Czech people don't like Poles. I can see it whenever I am there. I tried to figure it out and I found out it is probably because Poles like to behave in smart way, often negatively perceived. Like going round queues etc. I also found out Czech girls get really red faces whenever I come to a store and say I am looking for a product. In Polish there is a verb "szukać" standing for looking for / searching. I learned that in Czech it has something to do with sex.
