@noskidmarks I think he means things that are reasonably possible or technological in nature at least. The only way to rebel against marketing bullshit is by educating yourself and trying out different products. In the U.S. for example, it is very easy to form an informed opinion because there are many bike demos available.

Sales will always taint good ideas.
Where the f#@%k are the damned gearbox bikes! A Pinion gearbox has way more pros than cons for example. Surely gearboxes can't be stopped for another ten years by SCAM and Shitmano.
I'd also guess electronically controlling damping activated by pedaling triggered sensors, instead of built in anti squat will come about soon. Hopefully there's not a wave of electronic perishable shit coming. Wouldn't surprise me but.

+ Tires and Electronic aid (shifting suspension)...who knows? If history teaches us anything we might have a viable 2x2 bikes in the next 10 years...
