Ordered one of the Jagwire hydraulic brake hose cutter, pro version. Makes shortening cables much easy and hopefully without the need to bleed..just cut hose and refit the olive and the needle also using my Jagwire needle driver that I also purchased about a month ago...

very handy, you're good to go now, remember to raise the end you're cutting to avoid the air travelling up your pipe!

Well they make 2 versions of this cutter, a cheaper version that can be had for about a tenner from lots of places or the pro version I've bought which for some reason is harder to find in the UK and the price can range quite a bit for this pro version. I've seen it on eBay for about £16 but thats from Taiwan which is fine if you don't mind waiting. The dearest I've seen it being sold is for over £30!.

I purchased it from sprockets.uk.com as it was the cheapest UK price I could find at £21.79. I just have to wait for it to turn up now...

Even the German sites are expensive for this pro version.

I went for the better pro version as I've read its well - better quality and gives a better cut.
