So much for never raining in winter . Before sun up ride and the heavens opened. Super slippery and muddy . Went from hero dirt to " oh fuck" in minutes . I love this sport . It offers so much no matter what the skill level. Best thing I ever did was pick up a super market bike 9 years ago . That was a life changer . Ride on lads

 Yep ! Usually in the dark I try to run over toads but this morning I tried to ride through every puddle . It was so fun we were giggling like kids

 That's mt archer mate . I live pretty much the right of that at the base . It's got two trails coming down but they have been washed out in the cyclone we just had. Guys use the road up for training rides . One mate got his strava speed at 99.2 km per hour almost. 60 mph .... Insane or what.

 Mate of mine was at Manchester recently and borrowed a bike off his brother in law . He is super quick and ride some wales trails and lots of others. He struggled there saying the trails are really tech . Said a lot of 29ers around but saw lots of older bikes . I would get on any bike to ride with you mate
