 Which width is that one?

Its the tear tyre I had on, thought I'd weigh it whilst I had off, its a 27.5 × 2 25..says 610 grams on the box.

My bike is weighing aporox 10 oz, about 280grams, more with tubes in compared to tubeless.

My bike weighed 29lb 2oz last week, it now weighs 29lb 12oz with tubes fiited front & rear.

Will take it for a spin now and see if I can notice any difference running tubes..haha

Was it in the correct box? because the Schwalbe website claims that tyre is 670g +/- a few percent tolerance.
Throw the tube away and get some stans sealant. Big Grin
A tyre that looses are is quite normal, also when you get out and give it death on the trails it will seal as the sealant is flung into all nooks and crannies.

Yeah I here you about the sealant. Like I said the rear was fine it was just the front, but it was getting worse as the sealant was coming out more and more of the spoke holes. I don't think the sealant was much good tbh. I will indeed get some Stans and try again. Yeah the tyre was in the correct box...There is a thread somewhere where they talk about the same thing about the weights being off by a fair bit with these same tyres.

I can feel a difference with tubes in..feels like these is less grip and I feel slower...

As silly as it sounds, you will feel slower as the rolling mass has increased, it takes more effort to gain speed and acceleration will probably feel slower too.

Yep thats just how it feels..

You know what you have to do then Big Grin

Yep, buy some Stans. I've often thought about buying a bottle for just in case!..

I have tried various brands, and Stans is the only that I will now use. You only need approximately 60mm per tyre, but obviously, you can add a little more if you wish as this will prevent punctures.

Yeah I'll probably buy a 1litre bottle from bikediscount as its cheap.

Running tubes in tubeless tyres, you can feel them rolling about, it's a horrible feeling.
60mm ?I probabaly put 100mm in, f*ck the weight i don't want flats, saying that i burped at Afan yesterday.
Schwalbe sealant is cheaper and is Stan's, it says so on the box.£14.99 at Rush Cycles

I had 150ml in each of mine, still a good bit lighter than tubes too. I see the 1 litre bottle on bike discount for cheaper than the 500ml bottle is in the UK. I'll most likely get that. Yeah tubeless definitely feels nicer to ride with. Also yeah I read about the Schwalbe sealant being the same as Stans.
