One of my friends parents were away years ago so we got a Ouija board and were messing around. We apparently contacted a 10yr kid that had died in a car accident with his uncle during a thunderstorm. We were joking around a bit at first but we all claimed that we weren't guiding the thing when we were 'talking' to the kid. We even got a full name and wanted to go to the graveyard about 30 mins away to see if we could find his grave. That would have insanely freaky but we never did. What did happen though was we crashed that night at his house in the country and it just happen to be a stormy night. About 5 in the morning we were awaken by a huge bang. We looked around the house and found nothing but then one buddy looked out the window and saw the neighbors chimney on fire - it got struck by lightning! Then the next night he was home with just his Doberman, Candy, and thought he better stash the Ouija board away because his parents would be home in the morning and his mom would freak if she saw that in the house. He put in in his bedroom closet and went to bed. The dog, who normally slept by his bed, started barking during the night. He turned the light on to see the dog barking at the closet! It kept barking until he took the board and hid it in the garage. True story.

Damn, that's some story! I have a bunch of 'em, but never actually messed with them. I was gonna hang them all up on my wall, but they just sit in my closet. I wonder what you would have found if you did go to that cemetery you mentioned. That would be pretty trippy if there was a grave with that little boy's name...

That was a good story! I have never played with this kind of board but it would be fun. It would have been really freaky if you had found the boys name. Funny stuff happens all the time!

I would have liked to have known too. Not sure why we never went to the graveyard but that was like 18yrs ago so his name is long forgotten. More recently I was talking to a women where I was working and she was originally from a town in England that is known as the most haunted place in the UK. She asked me if I believed in any spiritual kind of stuff and I told her that story. When I mentioned the part about my friends Doberman I saw her eyes light up. I asked what was up with that and she said that apparently dogs are the most aware of spirits and that for some reason Dobermans are at the top of the dog group for sensing presence. That freaked me out a little.
