Yeah this frame is sick, the one thing that would make it better would be a slacker head angle, but in all honesty after riding it for a bit it doesn't actually bother me too much and I mainly ride DH trails. I do have the fork at it's stock 160mm, I've thought of lowering it to 140mm as 160mm just isn't needed for a hard tail, and then also installing a works component -1 degree angleset.

 @moleman: Can it fit a slackset in? I just assumed it couldn't due to the smaller than normal top headset. The head angle is/was the only thing that bothered me really. Ordered one last night, but got a call this morning they didn't have any. And as it was reduced to £330 I don't fancy paying the normal £400 now for it. Maybe it was a sign.

The guy at freeborn did say the 2017 will be out in a couple of months.

 @mgolder: yep, works components make a -1 degree angle set for the 34/44 headtube, but only only -1.
That's a bummer, I work at my lbs and we're a Genesis dealer, they may announce the 2017 in a couple of months but I doubt they'd be available till the end of the year. That's how it was for this frame. But maybe they will be, I'd have to ask the rep. I did see they have every other size apart from medium in stock though.

 @moleman: So that would make it just over 66 degrees ish then with 140 forks, not too bad really considering. But, I'm out of luck totally on the medium. It's a shame they don't sell the frames from the full build as the purple is awesome too.

Going to have to rethink my frame buying now.
