I think this is a render, still beautiful! if that isnt a render I will feel bad touching Ti Mark, sorry sent the package and local postal office sent it back here, need to buy coffee again as that one was close to expiration date.

 What is a Render?

I believe a computer generated image is what they are referring to...and not an actual frame...

Computer generated image, stocked to see this build! Love kingdom hard tails

Oh, got it. Yes, it does look "fake". I will ask Chris if this a render or real picture. I think you may be correct. I cannot wait to get this built on the 27.5 x 2.8 rims and tires. I am using Procore, so I am excited to try that as well.

Can confirm it's a render, Keyshot 5 does a good job.

@kempie: Yea, I see that it looks fake and no welds. But, I have a Kingdom Hex and it is a work of art, so this one should be as well.

Oh without a doubt, I fell in love with mine even though i'd previously vowed to never ride a hardtail again.

@kempie: Do you work for Chris Jackson?
  • 1 0
Yeah, i do all the design and suspension work.

@kempie: So you are familiar with the first Hex Di2 we built

@MWasson: The external one yeah, I remember it being a pain in the ass to get diagrams from Shimano, I think the original plan then was to use one of the early square batteries and have a detachable compartment but the pump battery was a better option.

I got lucky and bailed after that to work on the Switch, that internal solution is all Chris.

@kempie: Well it is all tucked in the frame nicely, but unfortunately, I left the Hex in Germany for my vacations. Was difficult lugging a bike through Kabul airport, the shuttle bus, and then on a helo to my camp.

I will have the Vendetta Plus 29er in Di2 over here to play with. Just shipped today. I will slip the BTR2 battery under the seatpost (Magura Vyron) and use the hole for the stealth dropper cable to run the Di2 cables from the front and out to the rear mech. Should have drilled the chainstay, but did not want to delay delivery any longer.

This is ... insanely awesome, need to push my craftiness, that would be great.
