@samjam: the sled looks ready to go. it pretty much looks like our trail conditions atm. It hardly rained at all this summer and we set a record for the most days over 35*C. It's been hot !!!
@samjam: the temp has came down a bit in the last few days but it was still 33*C today. I can't even remember the last time it rained, the lawns are yellow. With the humidex factor, we hit 40*C quite a few times. Great weather to go swimming but too hot during the night.
@FastDHR: summer is ridiculous hey? But your winter is too. I'm surprised MTB is so strong there with your crazy temps. I'm painting the outside of my house and I got sun burnt yesterday lol in winter!!!! I was up early , went for a ride, home took kids to school then started painting , finished at 7pm, went to hardware to get more shit then home to do our census then out till 11pm sealing holes from nails etc . Then a play with go pro footage . I was up after three hours sleep to repeat the cycle lol
@samjam: No wonder the crib looks so immaculate all the time, you're always working non stop bro. You're a proud man. We definitely have extreme temps over here, with all the mountains we have here, no wonder mtb and skiing are so popular.
@topsedit: we can't ride in rain here. Well we can but after about 20mm it's trail wrecking shit so stay off it. Our rain is tropical. It never just has a bit of a sprinkle, it's f*cking heavy as f*ck. We had a cat 5 cyclone go through our town last year. Lost water and power for five days
@samjam: ahhi see, yep, no point making it worse. Cat 5 jeeeeezus! we get wind and rain, but nothing close to that, out at sea/coastal weather is extreme on occasion. warm rain .. yes please
