yea, the dual crown, the tires, and the floating disk probably make the difference. my new TR250 is just over 37lb but i hope to get it below 35 soon

hahahaha, i just weighed it... and, well... its about 48.6 lbs
thats a solid bike for you. they funny thing is that it doesnt feel that heavy when u ride it, it rolls so well...

48.6? how is that possible? mine is 40.8 and the only difference is the fork, seat and post, and the floating rear break from what I can see.
