I actually dig the TAG wheels, I hear those things are f***ing INDESTRUCTABLE and mega stable. The weight doesn't matter if you switch to Eastons for race days, and the TAGs stand out on the trail.

I just think its funny that they are on a bike with an air shock and air sprung fork, cause its kind of a contradiction. But then again, you don't want to have to switch fork and shock just for race days, so I guess it makes sense.

Anyway, sweet ride. Definately original.

I Got a new rear shock now for the team dh. I went with the elka with a ti spring. But I love the tags there so damn tough.

...at first i thought WTF - WHY! but it remindes me of my old GT Show BMX - and still that bike has to go down in the UGLY books - WHY do that to a perfectly good design - WHY?

this is not to bad looking not a big fan of the 2009 norco team d-h but this one looks good nice job on the bike

do those wheels feel any different are they much lighter would you reccommend them how much did they cost
  • 1 0
They cost $899.00 for the 150 thru axle and 20mm thru alxe front. I love the way these wheels hold up.

they're like twice the weight of normal wheels
  • 2 0
They are twice the wieght, but they feel great. So stiff, and the viberation damping is sweet and rides great
  • 0 0
wheels are the most important part on the bike, twice the weight is hardly worth it and highly noticable

Come out and check it out you'd be surprised how well these roll and how stable the bike is

those wheels are great but they made a super light Dh bike weight the same as a freeride rig Frown

I have a set of easton havic dh wheels and tires that drop 3.5 pounds off for racedays I use the tags for practice and nasty dh races, Plus I keep the easton fresh and new just for races.

 ok sweet

Yeah, I think the extra weight would work to your advantage on steep and gnarly rock garden tracks, keep the momentum going.

If you want to buy a set of wheels that you put on and forget about it,then these are the wheels for you. they are heavier but not bad.

Thanks I like it alot. I'm looking at getting the new fox worldcup forks for it and a elka rear shock with ti spring to finish it off then new DXR crank set 170mm. but the boxxer world cup is a sweet shock to.

i just dont like that trame, i love the 06,07 ones the best
  • 0 0
As a freeride bike the 06 thru 08 were a better bike, this bike is much more designed for dh racing then freeriding

love but hate the new a-line it so heavy
  • 0 1
The aline is much heavier then the team dh because of the different rear ends this one is 38.9 pounds with my easton havic dh wheels and It could go lighter with the right parts.
  • 0 0
ya but is 46 pounds y not make it like 42 at lest
  • 0 1
I agree the aline is heavy the part kit and the new frame or at least rear end over built the team dh has a totally different rear end which cuts a lot of the weight off of it. the new bike does ride much lower and more stable at speed then last years.
