Theres some. All street, crappy parks besides Desert Hot Springs bike park which is okay. PD is definitely not like LA or long beach or any of those real urban places.
No dirt i can show you. "No dig, no ride" Mainly street and park. Palm Desert skate park wednesday from 2pm-5pm and Sunday 8am-12pm(full pads needed there) Dont go to Palm Springs park because youll have to run from the cops. Desert Hot Springs is the only decent bike park but its a bitch to find and its kind of in the ghetto. Let me know when youre down and we'll try and work something out. When youre ready to ride go to Kings Rideshop in Palm Desert and theyll help you out... we're all good friends with the owner.
Yep thats Palm Desert park. No one really likes it because there arent good lines and the trannies are weird. Id give Desert Hot Springs a try. Go during a weekday morning and with someone else LOL
Yeah its all good. Its legit, just in a sketchy part of town. Nothing indoors because our city planning people are dickheads. We had a petition going around for an indoor park and we got thousands of signatures but the people didnt hold up their end.
I guess if you love riding enough and dont care about peddlin around then bring your bike. I think its always worth it to bring your bike because if you dont you might regret it. That happened to me last time i was in Portland. I was bummin so bad.
I love it over the pitchfork. Way easier to foot jam abd its way lighter. Its a little difficult to get used to since its so much lower. I actually didnt cut the steerer. It came with the perfect length steerer. It has an internally threaded steerer and comes with a top compression bolt. Like bmx forks.
