Josh Bender's Karpiel Apocalypse. Rise big foot fork, 12" of travel. Both rear shocks are Risse, 12.5" of travel. The brakes are 8" Hayes hydralic brakes. Halo rims, and a Funn seat.
Well its obviously called a Karpiel Armaggedon and its got two shocks for an "infinite travel" feel. When the first shock bottoms out the second shock engages, also I think its only 13" in the back total, 10" for the first shock and 3" for the second one. The front fork is 300mm and at one point his seat looked like a banana seat from back in the 70's, it was all duct taped together and elongated so when he would land monster drops he had more room on the seat to land on. Also think about it, the bike was designed so that at full travel usage, it would have similar geometry to our bikes now, and he actually did land alot of monster drops, alot of the time though the transitions were rather shitty. that is rediculous the wheel base is shorter than the height of the bike any one wonder why he goes over the bars but I'd probably still ride it. those bikes originally come with 12 in the back and 8 in the front that bike has 14 in the back and 12 in the front.
