 Joplin. Would like to change the handlebar lever to a KS model.

 I have the 5" on my SS. I dont think 3" would be enough for me.

 3" of travel works just fine for me.

 Oh ya! Sure beats stopping and adjusting it all the time! 3 inches of seatpost travel works just fine for the 951.
