Pro-tec Bucky Classic and Full Cut Classic. These two helmets are important in the history of pro-tec, but we need to stress that they are not bike helmets. Please do not use one of these for biking...
these are the way to go, a whole lot comfier than the rock-hard foam helmets and they actually go around your whole head instead of chilling on top of your ears...
Yup, and pretty much useless in a hard crash, may as well wear a ball cap. Helmet technology has come a long ways in the past 20 years, the new Pro-tecs helmets are awesome, and they'll save your head.
They aren't for biking. When I had that piece of plastic one, everyone kept saying I should get a new helmet cause that one is made for wakeboarding or something haha. I ended up getting a new one about 3 weeks after.
It's one of their original skateboard helmets from a lot of years ago. The one on the right came first, and then Bucky Lasek didn't like the ear covers so they made one without. It was designed as a skateboard helmet, but I don't think it's even usable for that anymore under the new helmet/protection standards. They're pieces of history, and not to be confused with a current helmet that will protect your head in a crash...
Does anyone know if theres any difference between the full cut skate and the full cut 'water'? From what I can see the one made for waterspouts has no difference whatsoever....
