Very nice!
How do you find the shaddow+ and MRP combo in terms of controlling chain slap?

The combo is solid and very quiet. Some people say you don't need a guide when you use a + RD, but I think they go great together.

I'm sure you don't
need
a full guide with a clutch-enabled rear derailleur, but I honestly prefer the increased brush clearance you get with a guide that utilizes a bottom roller/retention arm.

do you feel the bike benefitted from the 180 fork? how is it compared to 160mm?

The 180 is really nice. It slackens the bike a bit and it keeps the front end up through the gnar.
