I got this bike as a well-needed upgrade from a hardtail. I thought it would help my descents (which it HAS), but I did not expect my climbing to improve as much as it did! Usually me and my friends stop at several "challenge" spots during trails and try sections over and over again. With this bike, I was able to climb them in the first try! Unbelievable. I love this ride, the Maestro suspension really does the job and with Giant you get the most bang for the buck, component-wise.
i own the 2010 but its not on here, it is an awesome fun ride. climbs any hill wwith ease yet it will be able to tackle almost every obsticle you put infront of it. the meastro suspension system really works it gives maximum pedaling efficiency
