great light stong crank, i only got rid of mine cause i caught my pedal on a tree stump at high speed which stopped me in my tracks instantly, the crash bent my pedal axle and ripped the threads out the crank arm, but everything else is fine Smile

the cheapest of the deore hollowtech set - I upgraded my xc bike with this (to replace powerspline) and i'll never look back.

other than visual, weight, and chainring options this is very similar to the SLX or Saint.. so I'd have no quarms in putting one of these on my dj bike(single ring) if I was on a budget.

lifespan - excellent.. very rare to have to replace crankarms, but bb needs servicing every now and then

Still going strong after 3 bikes. It was cheap, it has never given me an issue, and it takes all the AM abuse I have found to throw at it. It does flex a bit, but for $50, I won't call that a gripe.

Strong, light (for the price). Great quality/price relation. I use it with 2 rings and it works great.
