Bought a set of Black Flag Pro SL 29 as new take-offs from a Norco Team HT (girl opted for lighter wheels). Since they were OEM, I didn't get the extra spokes and tidbits that come when they are purchased aftermarket. As usual, the red alloy nippled they use started to pop the heads off after about 6 months of use, one in a spot that I needed to wrap the wheelsmith bladed spoke around another to get down a mountain top trail. My LBS doesn't have a rep for wheelsmith, so I called Sun Ringle and they shipped me 2 of each sized spokes for free, even after I told them I didn't buy them new. I only called them to get spoke length so I could order from another LBS and they did this for me. That kind of service doesn't exist anymore, I was blown away. Will definitely buy from them again.

As for the wheels themselves, I'm about 205lbs geared up and ride Xc singletrack. Nothing overly techy, but typical rock gardens, etc. The wheels have stayed true after bouncing off rocks of all kind, they setup tubeless superbly with the Stan's BST rim profile and the hubs.......OMG they are awesome! My last wheelset was a Hope Pro2 EVO/Stan's Arch EX build with DT Revo spokes. They were amazing wheels, but these BFP SL's are superior besides the alloy nipples. The hubs are 48 pt engagement and you can tell. They are the fastest rolling wheels I have ever had and they sound great. I highly recommend these wheels, but also recommend switching to brass nipples once you start breaking the alloy ones.
