Winter Riding High in the Tatras Mountains - Video
For the Irresistibles, even during the winter season, there are absolutely no excuses to stay home! There is no bad weather, no bad mood or no lack of time to enjoy cycling, especially that their destination was one of the most breathtaking places in the High Tatras – Zelene Pleso (a.k.a. Green Pond). Even with the temperatures way below -10°C, Lubos and Dodo of Kellys Factory Team had a great time admiring beautiful views and having fun while shredding fresh powder all over the place with their GIBONs!
OK, so where to go now...
There was more than a half of a meter of frozen powder below. Lubos made some research about it...
Everywhere we looked we saw breathtaking views! High Tatras are so beautiful during the winter season.
We will never forget the night ride on the frozen pond. It was totally awesome!
A few sips of tendering local tea, and we're ready to go back.
On the way back the gravity became our friend so we could go faster and faster!
Time to have some fun while cornering! Lubos made a really sick drift!

Great trip but the really awesome thing is that road. It's very hard to find road lightly driven by cars so it's perfect for mountain biking. The conditions were perfect

Too right. Hike-a-bike in the snow, at altitude, is draining work.
Also, what an excellent dog. A mutt like that should be able to double as a pillow or a mop.

I like the video. Production is very nice, winter look colours . Just fine.

It is illegal to ride on bikes in Tatras. You shouldnt brag about it in public!

This trail is legal for biking, it is actualy a road to the mountain shelter
