The bike will also come with an 11spd SRAM cassette, 11spd XO shifter and 11spd GX Mech, as well as a brand-X dropper post that's seen barely any use (I think it's a 150... but honestly I can't remember )
Recent work -
- Pre-Holiday I did a rebuild and greased everything.
- It had a Fork and Shock service in June at at TF Tuned, where the shock was converted to a 65mm stroke from 60mm and the Forks were converted to 190mm travel with a Luftkappe Piston upgrade. The best part of £400 was spend on the suspension 2 months ago and since then it's spent a fortnight in the Alps.
- Full brake Bleed
- New BB bearings
Now - the important part - it's extra-curricular activities!
Back in 2021, As you can see from the pictures, the bike had a small hole punched into the downtube by the BB when a set of XO Carbon cranks snapped (what a surprise!) on a landing and the frame then landed on them. Don't worry though, I rode it out like a boss.
The frame was sent to Carbonbikerepair in Leatherhead and was professionally repaired with a full lifetime warranty. That warranty lies with ME - but as with all warranty stuff on used bikes, if there was ever a problem - you'll have my number. It's survived 3 years of bikeparks like this - with no problems. Since then - It's been thrown down a few Welsh Bikeparks, as well as Whistler, Morzine a couple of times and numerous other Alps based bikeparks. The thing is fixed. It's been an absolute shredder and shows no signs of quitting.
I was forced to repaint the bike myself - as the wait for them to do it was 7 weeks - and I was 2 weeks away from Morzine when it got repaired! It was done half properly, but only from Halfords cans. The downside is, it's not that hard wearing - the upside is, you can literally buy their matte black off the shelf anywhere and touch it up if you really want to! I haven't bothered. I like the scars. It shows its been used!!
This is not a carpark queen. It's not some unused garage dust-accumulator. It's a long travel, miniDH weapon that takes anything you throw at it. It's genuinely a lot of bike for the money and it's truly the closest thing to the "one bike to rule them all...." category we all wish existed. Its been hands-down the best bike I've owned.
Message me for any more info - I've got all the invoices/service confirmations etc buried in my inbox.
I think it's priced very fairly for the spec and condition, even with it's repair, but if you promise to continue thrashing it down mountains - we can work something out.
Collection in person - PayPal friends and family as long as its in person - bank transfer - cash moneys - or possibly a DH bike swap? I'm based in Alton, Hampshire.
This is a secondary account (can't get access to the email on my main...) so please feel free to call/text/WhatsApp on 07814548379.
Thanks for reading this essay.

Hi Jaha.
The mount is about 7 inches long but it obviously depends where you mount it on your lid.
I tested one last week on the trails and it does vibrate a bit, but still manages to get some OK footage if you're just using it for a few clips. We always, ALWAYS, recommend tethering your camera to your helmet, so if anything did break it wouldn't fall to the ground. We do this with a small piece of string round the skeleton base and through 2 of the holes on a Dirt-Jump helmet. Works a treat!
If you check our videos section there will be a few clips uploaded shortly - one of them is using this mounting system.
Thanks,
