Sep 13, 2022Cannondale Synapse 105 Alloy 56cm
$900 GBPCannondale Synapse alloy 105 disc, size 56cm, bought new in August 2020 and selling to fund an upgrade. It’s a quality bike that’s comfortable and easy to ride, which I’ve enjoyed covering around 750 miles on. I’m about 6ft tall, average build and it fits me perfectly.
It’s in very good condition, running smoothly, with a few small superficial marks. I’ve kept it clean and well maintained throughout my ownership. As a fair weather road cyclist it’s rarely seen the rain. It will come with the pedals (Shimano PD-EH500) and bottle cages shown in the pictures too.
It is the same as the bike being sold as the 2022 model in some shops:
Would prefer collection in person, but could be persuaded to deliver or meet halfway. Would rather not post.

Bike Park Wales Begins Development On First Uplifted Green Trail and New Visitor Centre
@JamesGTi: also avoided surgery, just. Spent 6 weeks in an aspen collar to see how the bones healed, all good, so no surgery required. A year on and my neck is sore, stiff, and cracks a lot more than before, but it’s gradually improving and not really limiting me. For biking the biggest trouble is resistance when tilting my head up, also improving.
Glad to hear your recovery is going well, good luck! Stick to all the exercises, and don’t push it too far too soon!

Bike Park Wales Begins Development On First Uplifted Green Trail and New Visitor Centre
I had a similar injury (C6&C7) last year and last weekend had my first BPW trip since that. I'm also by no means an expert! It's brilliant for building back your confidence and has loads to progress on, would definitely recommend it. By the end I was almost back to the same trails and features as before.
Biggest problem was not having built back my strength/fitness enough to fit more runs in!

Video: Ben Cathro Searches for Smooth Lines in Val di Sole
It's all still a pretty subjective analysis. Here's some reasons why:
1) He doesn't time every single person multiple times on the section.
2) Not everyone rides with the same intensity.
3) Not everyone rides each section / line perfectly.
It's quite possible that the 'fastest' line he picks is only so because that rider rode it perfectly, wheras the others did not.
