I can't believe I logged in just to down vote you two. Stupid train of thought. I honestly can't grasp how anyone could think that the bike would still be a significant and uncontrollable variable after all the testing and custom mods, suspension and geometry, these guys get.

People get rich off of filming MTB short films??? ha ha HAHAHHA. Oh and they're filmers not bikers so the wouldn't possibly be able to appreciate a 9.9.

I know a guy whose angleset worked fine, mine. It popped once and never did after that. Does popping actually do anything negative or is it just an annoying sound?

The objective of a photograph isn't to impress other photographers and at the end of the day it isn't the most technically impressive photo that should win but the one that can impress the most people regardless of their knowledge of photography. I agree that on the technical side some of the winning photos were lacking but public voting is really the only way to judge how good a picture is. If it's all based on technicalities it ends up being photographer hipster-fest that ignores the end goal of photography - to drop as many jaws as possible!

The collective was one of the first real MTB movies that I watched. There are ton of good, cool and pretty movies out there but nothing seems to bring about that same feeling of wonder and excitement that the collective gave me when I first saw it.
