For sale is my Focus Mares AX 3.0 cyclocross bike. It's perfect for anyone who wants a bike that does a bit of everything, trails, gravel paths, commuting or as a winter training bike. Having owned a Focus road bike in the past I knew that it would come with some nice components. You will see that the Mares utilises the growingly popular disc brakes and thru axles so the bike has some nice technology for a relatively low price. The bike is only 5 weeks old so is still in excellent condition. It's 56cm although it has an M logo, my local bike shop explained when I bought it that Focus made separate batches of 56cm's some with M and some with L. Cash on collection. I'm willing to meet within reason if it helps.

The bars cost me £60 and the grips £20. Bars cut down to 660mm. The bike is a Large and is the Grey/Orange combination. I will supply the air fork pump. Condition is like new, I purchased and received the bike in March this year. You will see that the only thing really is a bit of dust build up on the hubs/cassette area as you'd expect for a mountain bike. The stanchions are fine with no marks. The bike has only been ridden on roads, pavements and disused railway lines so it has never been abused on rough off road tracks. It could probably do with a service now as the cables are a little stretched from new. The bike is fantastic to ride, coming from a road background I wanted something light and fast which this does well. Being carbon fibre and only 11kg with the 29" wheels it makes a great speedy bike. I'm not a religious cyclist and I regularly ride at 14mph averages for 20 miles. Note: The bike will not come with the pedals, pump, tool bag or bottle holder. Cash on collection. For sale is my 2012 Focus Cayo Evo 2.0 Di2. The frame is a Large 57cm. Full carbon bike with the Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic groupset, the charger will be supplied. Its got a full ultegra finishing kit, not a mix of cheaper components. Its the last of the Focus' with a good stem and seatpost which are both FSA carbon as standard. Last year a noticed a small crack to the lacquer on the seat stay so I showed it to Focus who replaced for a new frame so the bike is in very good condition. I think I'll have done less than 100 miles on the new frame as I've been using my mountain bike this summer. The forks do have a couple of marks but nothing that stands out. The bike is standard apart from the rear tyre which I had to change to a Vittoria Rubino Pro. Other than that its in great condition. This is a truly great road bike. Super smooth over rough surfaces, really light for climbing and hold its speed amazingly when up to around the 18-20mph mark. If combined with either super light wheels or deep section rims it will be as good as a bike costing double the original £2.8k tag. Will not come with pedals and cage.
