Fox Float CTD Evolution Shock, Specialized Enduro, AutoSag

$75 GBP
Almost new Fox Float CTD Evolution rear shock with AutoSag, 216x57mm. This shock came with my 2015 Specialized Enduro 29er but it will fit any 2014 or 2015 Enduro 29er or 650b. This shock has about 20 hours of riding on it only. If you have a damaged shock on your Enduro then this could be what you're looking for. Grab this almost new shock for less than the price of sending your shock away for a service. The condition is just about perfect - you would be hard pressed to tell this from a brand new shock, apart from a tiny scratch near the end of the lower. The mark is beyond the point of maximum travel so will never come into contact with the seal or upper shock. I've included a photo of it next to a ruler and the rubber o-ring seal for scale. Note that the end of the shock is designed to fit a Specialized clevis so it won't work with any other brand of frame. Sale includes bushings. Happy to answer any questions!

Specialized Enduro Frame - PUSH - XL

$465 GBP
2012 Specialized Enduro frame in good condition. Though this is a 2012 model I bought it new form a Specialized dealer in 2014 - it had sat in storage, perhaps intended to be used as a warranty replacement until I bought it - so the frame really has under a year of use. Size XL, Specialized recommend for riders in the range 6’2” to 6’6”. The eagle eyed will notice that this is frame features the Black/Grey/Red paint detailing of the Expert Evo model. When I bought the frame it had a coil shock (the only physical difference between the Evo and the normal Enduro is the shock), but I immediately changed this out for a Kashima coated Factory Series Fox RP23 to make it more enduro friendly. All hardware and geometry is now therefore as per the 2012 air-shocked versions of the Enduro, the only thing ‘Evo’ is the paint work. The RP23 was tuned and fitted to the frame by TF Tuned, who also carried out a full service and a PUSH upgrade at the same time. The RP23 features rebound adjustment, 3-step adjustable low speed compression damping and a Propedal lever which quickly flicks the shock into a firmer climbing mode. The frame is in good condition overall but does have a few scratches and paint chips, as you’d expect from a frame with a year’s normal use. I’ve tried to give a fair and accurate representation in the photos. The lowest cable clamp in the downtube received a ding from a rock thrown up by the front wheel - fortunately the cables protected the paintwork but the grommet for the 4mm bolt that holds the cable clamp was bent in a few degrees, though it still works fine. The frame features a 142 quick release bolt-through rear axle. It is compatible with any 142 rear hub and Specialized’s own 142+ hubs. Something to think about if you’re considering buying an Enduro frame elsewhere; unless you’re using the Specialized branded fork that was sold on this generation’s S-Works model then you need to make sure that there is a special beveled spacer provided with the frame. The spacer has to be included above the lower headset race, otherwise the race won’t make contact with the fork. I was caught out with this and had a hard time finding a spare spacer! This sale will include the headset and the spacer. Sale will also include the cable mounts and rear axle (not shown in the photos). I’m a self confessed Specialized Enduro fanatic, having owned a 2005 in size large, a 2006 in XL, and then this 2012. For me the Enduro is a epitome of the all-mountain bike; fine for climbing all day, but rips like a monster down the hills. This frame has been cherished but is now up for sale as I’ve picked up a brand new 2015 Enduro. Happy to answer any questions! Viewing welcomed if you live in the area.

Fox 36 Fork - RC2 FIT - Talas V - 26” x 160mm - Tapered Stee

$445 GBP
2014 Fox 36 Talas fork, bought new from Wiggle in February 2014. This is the top of the range Factory Series model with Kashima coated stanchions. Travel is adjustable from 160mm to 140mm with a turn of the dial on the top of the left leg. RC2 damper allows adjustment of high and low speed compression. The 2014 includes the new hydraulic Talas cartridge also featured in the 2015 model, with much lower friction than previous Talas, making the sensitivity of the fork Talas indistinguishable from the Float version (this hadn’t been the case prior to 2014). Unlike the 2015 model this fork features a quick releases on the 20mm bolt-through axle. Steer length is almost 23cm. I’ve changed the oil in the lowers and greased the seals every 20 hours of riding to keep them in prime condition. I have just changed the oil and greased the seals in preperation for sale. There are a few small scratches on the outside of one stanchion. They’re quite shallow and have never shown any indication of the release of oil or air. There’s a few marks and scratches on the lower legs and on the decals but nothing very serious. All are displayed in the photos so that you can make up your own mind! Happy to answer any questions you may have! Please see my other auctions - pay for postage on one item only if you win more than one.

.243 Racing - Two Forty Three - 4130 Cromo - Hardtail

$129 GBP
This is a very rare and desirable steel hardtail frame, for DH, street, dirt jumping or aggressive trail riding. Currently up on the popular auction site. .243 are handmade in small quantities in Vancouver BC by Eric Fox. He doesn’t actually make frames for off-the-shelf sale anymore, you have to order them as a one-off, so this auction really is a rare opportunity! I visited his workshop in Vancouver where he designs and makes bike parts, custom parts for drag motor bikes and metal sculptures. I have owned the frame from new. The .243 Racing Frame is built from oversized straight-guage 4130 cromo tubing which means there is no internal butting of the tubes like there is on some high-end steel and aluminium frames. This makes for a stronger, but heavier frame than average, with the .243 tipping the scales at 3.4kg (7.5lbs) for a bare frame. The front end of the bike is one of the most serious chunks of steel you are ever likely to find on (or above) the trails. The head tube is 5mm thick milled cromo and is attached to the top and down tubes by a massive box gusset. This is the 'long' size, with a 13" seat-tube and a top-tube length of 23.5". With a 5" fork the .243 has a 69 degree head angle and 72 degree seat angle. The bottom bracket is MTB type. Can be used with 24" or 26" wheels, with disks or V-brakes. The rear dropouts are basically horizontal type, but include plates which allow the rear axle to be locked in one of several positions to vary the chainstay length, or alternatively the plates can be used as variable horizontal dropout chain tugs for running single speed. The dropouts allow you to run chainstay lengths anywhere from a super-short 399mm / 15.7" to a more sedate 420mm / 16.5". I have built the frame up with 4 and 5” single crown forks for dirt jumping and street duties, but also spent a summer riding it with an 8” dual crown DH fork, including a trip to Whistler.. Let me tell you, that was a blast, so maneuverable, and the hardtail frame airing easily while the front end could be weighted to smooth out the rough stuff! The frame is in good used condition with no real dings or dents. The paint is scratched/chipped/rubbed off in places but certainly no damage beyond the cosmetic.
