The Civia Hyland was built to be a cyclist’s commuter. Fast and efficient aluminum frame. Disc brake stopping power. Color match full cover aluminum fenders. CROSS IS COMING!!! And what better way to prepare than with a piece of single speed ‘cross vintage goodness. This finely aged bike was Raleigh’s first single speed frame and they asked Minneapolis’ own TwinSix to help. It’s an aluminum frame with a Specialized FACT carbon fork. Gearing is 42x18. Good for 25mph or so on the road and solid for cross racing too. Brakes are Tektro Mini-Vs. I think they have better modulation and stopping power than cantilevers. They also aren’t as finicky. The wheels are Shimano WH-R550s. Smooth, light and quiet. Normal road spacing means you can throw any rim brake wheels on. Currently set up with 700x45 slicks. They JUST fit in the back but are supple and smooth. I’m throwing in a set of MAXXIS Mud Wrestler tires (700x35) for yours off-road adventures. As a “race” frame, it doesn’t have bottle bosses. I’ve zip tied a bottle cage (frame under is protected by an old tube). I also have a seatpost mounted double cage if you’d like. It’s a fun bike and one I’ll probably regret for a long time but I’m not riding it enough. Come enjoy a great cross fall and gravel spring!!

I bought these a while ago thinking I'd used them as a plus set for my Surly Karate Monkey. However I always rode it with the 29ers and have since sold that bike. Maxxis Recon tires - 27.5 x 2.8 These tires and wheels have ZERO miles. Just topped up the sealant and they are ready for dirt this summer. They are boost spaced. The freehub body is Shimano 11spd. Its convertible to XD easily but I don't have the part.

Anyone out there still riding rim brake, tubular 10spd cross wheels?!? Just me huh?? We’ll these were ridden for 2 laps of a cross race and are otherwise perfect. Hand built wheels and Belgian glued (tape and glue). Could be a great fast gravel set as well! LAS 700x33 - file treads and volumous for a 33. Clement tubulars are tubeless- so you could add sealant to the tires to protect against punctures. Located in Minnetonka, MN

Selling my trusty and true (and very reliable) Raleigh Furley. It started as a single speed that I upgraded everything except the frame and cranks. It's built with SRAM Apex right shifter and Rival rear derailleur and a SRAM left brake lever to keep a factory look. It's got brand new (200km) Vittoria Randonneur Cross tires (probably good for another 5,000k or more). The frame and fork are 4130 steel and the stem (110mm) and bars (42cm) are beautiful Ritchey Classic. Will come with the comfy, carbon railed Fizik Aliante, bottle cage and pedals. This was my daily commuter and I loved it. Due to moving (and switching brands) it's gotta go. Does need a bath though (sorry).
