Orange 224 Evo Short frame Fox 40

$600 GBP
Orange 224 Evo - Short Frame I bought this from here a couple of years ago and it's been perfect since I've had it. Only selling as I've moved on to other hobbies and haven't ridden it at all this year. Good spec, would make a great entry level DH bike for anyone on a budget Forks: Fox 40 2010 soft spring Rear shock: Fox DHX RC4 2013 with 300 TI spring Brakes: Hope tech M4 with hope floating rotors (203mm front and back) Drive train: Shimano Zee rear mech and shifter Cranks: Shimano Zee cranks with E13 chain device and bashguard Pedals: Nukeproof Proton Wheels: Hope hubs on Mavic D321 wheels Headset: FSA Bottom Bracket: Hope Stem: Hope direct mount Handlebars: Answer pro taper 780MM Hope Grips Seat post: Thompson Elite Saddle: SDG bel air One of the headset pinch bolts has sheared (see pictures). I bought it like this and it's never given me a problem. I think the previous owner tried to get it out but I've not bothered as it hasn't caused any problems. It's got the usual wear marks and stone chips from a used bike but nothing serious. Frame is in good condition with no cracks There is a small stone mark on the fork stanchion but doesn't cause any leaks. Shown in pictures Any questions just ask

Bionicon Supershuttle

$600 GBP
Collection only. Viewing welcome. 2010 Bionicon Supershuttle (medium). This has the Bionicon adjustable geometry system (70mm to 150mm). Full details are below. If you have any questions or want any other photos just let me know. (If you give me your weight I can set up the suspension for you so it will be ready to ride). - Frame = In really good condition (see photos). No dents or cracks and all welds are good. Please bear in mind this is a used bike so there are some scratches/scuffs etc - Suspension = Bionicon Double Agent forks with the upgraded damping cartridge (not all of these bikes will have this). Linked with the X-fusion 02 RC shock (adjustable rebound and compression). Pressing the orange button on the handlebars and shifting your body weight adjusts the geometry and suspension travel. This is infinitely adjustable (I.e there aren't set stages). I've found that maybe once a month I need to top up the air in the system but it has never affected a days riding. I'm not sure if this is normal or if one of the air hoses needs tightening etc, and the fork lowers have a couple of dings (see photos). Price reflects both of these. Weight forward = Uphill/climbing mode. This reduces fork travel and steepens the geometry to something more like an XC bike. Weight rearwards = Downhill mode. This increases fork travel and slackens the geometry to something more like an enduro bike I can confirm that both climbing and DH performance are great. The suspension will not be as good as your mates new Pikes or Fox Floats but I have used this on an uplift day at bike park Wales and was keeping up with people on new enduro bikes so certainly capable. See review here: http://www.mbr.co.uk/news/bike_news/first-ride-bionicon-supershuttle-2-2080-197275 - Wheels = The bike currently has my spare DH wheels on (black ones) which will NOT come with the bike. It will come with the original Alex Rims X0 light (white ones in the photo). The rear freehub has recently been serviced as the original spring had broken and the hub was slipping. This has been fixed with a stronger spring for extra strength. Therefore the mechanism is a bit louder (sounds like a DH hub) but should be much stronger and more reliable - Brakes = I upgraded the brakes to Avid Elixir R's. I bled these once when I bought them and they have been great ever since. Used with Superstar Kevlar pads. This combo has plenty of power and have never let me down. - Drivetrain = 2x8 set up. SLX cranks (very good condition, see photos). Blackspire bash ring and lower chain guide to complete the set up. Fairly new superstar pedals also included. I can include a 32t narrow-wide front ring for no extra cost. - Other = The seat is an almost new superstar one with titanium rails. (only 1 ride old!)

Specialized Demo 7 - PRICE DROP

$750 GBP
For sale - Specialized Demo 7 I've owned this bike for just over 1 year and it has been a great introductory bike for down hilling, it has done me well at all of the UK and Welsh tracks I have ridden and has never let me down. Price includes the Boxxer World Cup's but if you are looking to spend less I could fit the original Bombers (180mm) and negotiate a lower price. Sensible offers considered but not in a rush to sell so nothing silly. Details are below. If you have any questions or want any other photos just let me know. (If you give me your weight I can set up the suspension for you so it will be ready to ride). - Frame is a small (but very similar geometry to a lot of mediums I've seen. Google shows a lot of forums thay say these bikes were sized bigger. For reference I am 5'10). Frame is solid with no dents or cracks and good welds all round. There are some areas of paint removal (mostly on the rear where it had been previously run without any protection from the chain). I have always run it with something here (velco cover/inner tube etc) to stop it getting worse. Please bear in mind that this is a used bike so there are various stone chips/scratches etc. The pictures show the frame apart, I did this last week to give it a proper clean and make sure the bearings were all running ok (they are and have at least another season in them if the bike is looked after properly). - Forks = Boxxer World Cups fitted one ride ago. I believe these are 2009 and were top spec at the time. Condition is excellent (no marks on stanchions) and they ride perfectly. The only issue is the bump stops are starting to crank. This was whilst they were being unused (stored for a few years and not used much) but haven't caused any issues and can easily be replaced. When I fitted them I also fitted a new FSA cartridge headset (a lot of these bikes will still have the original ball bearing head sets which weren't great). All adjustments and knobs are working and complete. These are awesome forks (run by the World Cup boys at the time). Shock – Fox DHX 4. This had been TF tuned by the previous owner. All I've done is fit a lighter spring (450lb and 500lb springs will be included). I also took out the travel limiting chip when I fitted the Boxxers to increase the rear travel. Works really well with the 200mm forks. - Tyres = Maxxis High Roller II and Minion included (see photos for condition). They aren't new but I wouldn't be in a rush to replace them - Brakes = Avid Juicy 5's. I've found these to be great and had none of the reliability issues of the newer Elixirs. Since owning I have never bled them, just fitted Superstar Kevlar pads and forgot about them. Some spare pads should be included. - Wheels = Original DT swiss rims with Specialized hubs. Not perfectly straight but near enough. No problems or punctures since I've owned (I think I fitted downhill tubes with the new tyres but cant remember for sure). - Drivetrain = Sram X9 type 2 mech (this is the clutched mech) with race face narrow wide chain ring and e-thirteen bash ring and chain guide. This combo works well (I've never dropped a chain). The only problem is I had to replace part of the chainguide but couldn't find the right spares, so the top guide is white instead of green. Race face cranks and Superstar pedals. - Other = Charge seat (rip at back shown in photo). This means the sponge gets a bit wet when you wash it. (For the right price I might be able to include a brand new seat...)
