Apr 17, 2021SC Bullit Medium
$250 CADIt's time for Bikenstein to move on. He's a nearly 40lb beast from decades past that's been kept alive through the judicious use of replacement parts.
The original bike was a Santa Cruz Bullit, size M with all the best parts for it's day. Today only the frame, seat, and seatpost remain from the showroom floor.
Parts replaced:
Shimano XT Brakes (front/rear)
Narrow-Wide front ring
Zee Cranks
Shimano rear derailleur
RockShox Totem AIR front suspension (clean stanchions)
RockShox Monarch Plus Air rear suspension
Mavic 26" rims
Maxxis Minion rubber
and the crowning glory of it all! The rare "Digger" handle bars. (love you, man!)
The bike might be rideable as is, though it hasn't seen any maintenance in a couple years and needs some air in the tires.
This beast would be ideal for someone looking for parts or a repair project (with potential to resale?) Not interested in test riders or tire kickers. Please know what you're buying before you reach out.
The price I'm asking is FIRM and I'm not parting it out. $250 and you roll the whole thing away!

$350 CADGhost Powerkid 24" Disc Girls Bike
This is an excellent bike. I purchased it for my daughter from MEC when she was 7. It was a little big for her then (but she's petite). Bike is probably suitable for a big 6yo through a small 11yo. The paint has some scuffs, but no major damage anywhere. The hydraulic disc brakes are the absolute best for a kid with small hands. Easy lever action but huge stopping power. I've adjusted the levers to work with smaller hands.

Whistler Bike Park Update: The Calm
KidsWorx is absolutely awesome! My daughter just received her first real mt bike and the first thing she wanted to do with it was go to Whistler for KidsWorx.
So we did... and she loved it... Long Live KidsWorx!

Making Your Grom's Bike Park Experience Epic
My daughter is 8, we watched Mont St Anne yesterday without seeing any highlights. We've watched it all, the ladies (she's a Carpenter fan), the men (She likes saying "he's going to be knocked out of the hot seat"). She see's Bryceland leave the start hut and rip that opening line to the trees and says, "He's going to win." I ask how she knows and she looks at me with a 'did you not see that?' expression.
So I got her a 'real' mt bike. Disk brakes and all... See you at Crankworx Whistler!
Girls can shred.
