Freehub Magazine: NEW Crankworx Whistler Print Partner

Since its inception in 2009, Freehub Magazine has sought to capture the most authentic and beautiful aspects of mountain biking. To further these efforts in 2014, we are proud to announce Freehub’s role as a print media partner for what is possibly our sport’s most colorfully cultural event, Crankworx Whistler. There are few mediums that can tell a story as genuinely or stunningly as print—we will therefore use the timeless, high-quality pages of our magazine to document the figures, faces and festivities that surround Whistler from August 8 through 17. From the event’s heritage to the competitors’ backgrounds to the final scores, Freehub will be there to tell the stories that continue to unfold at Crankworx Whistler.



With our summer issue printing just days before the festivities, Freehub will be unveiling our most recent dose of mountain bike culture at our on-site booth during Crankworx. We encourage readers to stop by to shake hands, say hello, grab an issue and hear more about what’s on Freehub’s horizon for 2014.


Perhaps no other event in mountain biking has seen as many milestone moments or started as many pro riders’ careers as Crankworx Whistler, and we are excited and proud to be the print voice of that legacy, and to support both riding in the Pacific Northwest and in communities around the world.
