Love a good bit of single track with some nice technical parts in. Ride all over the place from Surrey to Tahoe! Try to do as much of my own mechanics on my bike as possible. Really into mountain bike photography as well! Stoked to be part of such an amazing community!

May 23, 2020Marin B17-1, Medium, Fox Performance Elite
$1699 GBPMarin B17-1 2019 Full Suspension Mountain Bike. I have had this bike for just under a year now and it has been fantastic. It was originally bought from Chain Reaction Cycles and I will include the receipt giving the balance of the warranty. The bike frame is in good condition although there are marks and cable rub on it. Most notably on the top tube. This is all cosmetic however and I have regularly serviced the drivetrain to ensure it is in top working order.
I have heavily upgraded the suspension on the bike from the Rockshox that it came with. I have installed a 130mm Fox 34 Performance Elite and a Fox DPS Performance Elite shock on the rear. This has transformed the bike and with some of the best suspension you can buy given it a very super feeling. I have also installed new Maxxis Minion DHF/ DHRII 2.8” tyres which give tremendous grip. They are around 5 months old have and are still in fantastic condition. The brake rotors have also been upgraded with a 200mm Shimano rotor on the front and a 180mm rotor on the rear.
Full Specs:
Medium Frame Size
Fox 34 Performance Elite, 130mm travel, Fit 4 Damper
Fox DPS Performance Elite rear shock
Sram NX 1x11 speed gearset
Shimano BR-M315 Hydraulic Disc (200mm/180mm rotors)
TranzX Dropper Post 120mm
Maxxis Minion 2.8” DHF/DHR II (tubeless done)
DMR V8 Pedals
The bike will be collection only from Reigate and payment via PayPal. Any questions please ask!

Video: Hardtail still rocks
Why do I ride a hardtail?
1. They are are super light and chuckable (try riding down a knarly trail then having to ride back up on your full d/h rig! No lifts here in the UK!)
2. A decent hardtail frame starts around the same price as a mediocre full sus frame!
3. They are mechanically simple and frankly I don't need anything else! A hardtail built to your own spec is a truly special thing! I may buy other bikes in my life but I hope I don't ever have to get rid of my current hardtail!

Video: Dan Atherton - Welsh Backcountry
Looks epic, I will definitely make the trek over there! I just wouldn't want to come off on that type if rocky terrain, it would eat your body up!

Jerome Clementz Rides Secret Tuscany
Wow, I go to Tuscany a lot and I have been completely unaware there was amazing riding in the area!
The heat in the summer is a bit of a killer, even only doing the gentile riding that I have done there!
The ice cream is always a great reward after though!
