Ikons on the rear for XC and Ardent Race on the rear for AM, seems to work well!

I'm trying the Ikons on the bake, Exo 3C TR version. I have nibby nic Evo on the front. Im running tubeless, around 23psi so that helps with grip. Mostly loose over hardpack. They roll very really well. I used to have an Ardent Race on the back, good grip and very durable but I switched it to the TransAM because they are fairly heavy. The Ikons roll a bit better than the Ardent Race and the grip is maybe a bit better, hard to tell. I have used Schwalbe and Maxxis and I would have to say Maxxis are more durable. Schwalbe are great but they wear so quickly.

Im trying Ikons for the first time for XC, they are light and seem to grip fairly well although I haven't raced on them yet.

I'm not usually a fan of fluro yellow but it looks good here in moderation with the grey frame. How do you find the Rock Razor?

The derailleur is great, I cant believe how well it holds the chain and minimal chain slap. It is so quite. I passed on the brakes because XT wasn't that much more and I figured an extra pair of pistons was going to relate to more maintenance in the long term. I am kind of disappointed I didn't give them a go though.

Zee components are great, for the price you can't beat them. I did upgrade to a saint shifter though, it feels a lot nicer than the Zee shifter.

Thanks, yeah I built it myself. I did a "cheap" build about 3 months ago. Just added the X-Fusion Sweeps, Reverb dropper and Chromag stem. I have only been offroad once with the Sweeps, looking forward to some more time on them!
