Pristine Specialized Enduro SX (one size frame)

$1800 USD
This immaculately maintained Specialized SX is the perfect bike for riding flow trails, DJ, and dual slalom (for those in the Seattle area, it is the ideal Duthie Hill bike). I am the original owner and built the bike up with all new parts. Sadly, I am an old man who has not had the time to ride the bike as much as it deserves, and I don't want to keep it idle in my garage. Asking $1800 + shipping. See below for the spec list: Frame: Specialized SX (one size) Fork: Fox Float 32 Wheels: DT Swiss FR 600/6.1 Rims + DT Swiss 240 Hubs Cranks: Sram XO Carbon Shifter/Derail: Sram XO Stem: Renthal Apex Duo Bars: Renthal Fatbar Brakes: Avid Elixr Carbon No pedals included

Aaron Gwin and Specialized Part Ways - Here's Why
It's too bad that they didn't find an arrangement to maintain the sponsorship that both parties could feel good about. I thought they were a good fit. Hope Gwin continues to be successful and represent USA on top of the world cup scene. It would be really fascinating to know the numbers behind this story. I have no sense for what the top guys earn, and it doesn't sound like the riders really do either. I found it a bit odd that Gwin would look at Specialized revenue and profit in determining how much he thinks he is worth. Perhaps a much more reflective number of an athlete's value would be how much product they specifically are responsible for moving. I have no sense for whether people ultimately buy their bikes because of the racers, even the winning ones. It that doesn't factor into my decisions. The allocation of sponsorship funds also comes down to the overall team--I don't know if Gwin would expect that the overall budget increase or if he would have preferred to get his $ and the team drop Brosnan. i am personally glad that they have kept Brosnan, and I hope he is there for his entire career. I have no idea how Santa Cruz has been able to keep such a strong team together for so long, but I think it is really cool that they have. It kind of sucks to see riders move around as frequently as they do. I am not sure what level the money is at, but hopefully these guys are getting ahead financially during the short careers they have.

Pinkbike Awards: Downhill Bike of the Year Nominees
Knifing front wheel? That sounds like a rider issue to me. We ought to ask Giant if Weagle is allowed to claim any original thinking about pedaling efficiency and rider weight...
