Giant Reign X 2 (XL) New price

$895 CAD
2012 Giant Reign X 2, purchased June 2013, and ridden two seasons. I bought a Glory last season, proceeded to break my heel on my third day out and have not ridden since. This bike is in good shape, some scuffs and scratches as well as a small dent in the rear drive side chainstay. No cracking around the dent. It has been well maintained, with regular visits to the mechanic. https://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-ca/bikes/model/reign.x.2/9795/49412/#overview I removed the chain tensioner, because it is a rock magnet, but never dropped a chain as a result. I still have it, though it has seen better days. It has been ridden by a tall but light beginner for two seasons. I have the bill which entitles you to a lifetime frame warranty. Comes with some sexy RaceFace Aeffect pedals with extra pins. Extra derailleur hanger. Spare brake pads. Special bonus of a Fox Titan sport jacket upper body armour, in good shape and a Bell full-face helmet.

Nice riding. We don't see many videos of people actually hitting the jumps in the park.

Giant Glory 2, 27.5

$2400 CAD
This year's Giant Glory 2, size large. Includes Race Face AEffect Pedals (black). This bike is basically brand new. It has been ridden for 11 runs at Bromont. The pedals have only 3 runs on them. I'm selling because I broke my heel and will be toning down my riding if and when I come back. Thanks for looking, and don't be shy to make me an offer. Sam

Video: Sometimes You've Got to Grind it Out
Why is everyone so cranky? These three hipsters went on a cool bike ride. They made it fun by dressing in stealth ninja suits and bringing cheese. Don't begrudge them their fun just because you would do it another way. Instead get out there and do it!

Dylan Sherrard's Dark Roast Diary - Black Wings Above The Bike Ranch
Well written and with a nice cursive as well. Here I was thinking that I was the only journal writing mountain biker. Well done.

Opinion: The Dirtbag Life
This was an interesting read. I do think that based on my dirtbag climbing experience, that being a bike bum would be more challenging. Climbing tends to be a lower cost sport and lends itself naturaly to camping. I may not be a very good rider, but I find that I need to shell out way more often on my mtn bikes. You just plain wear things out way faster. Let me end my rambling by saying more power to those mtn biking dirtbags who make it work. Dirty clothes, dirty car, giant smiles! What more can you ask for?
