Mar 17, 2020Scott Foil 30 SRAM Force/Rival/Rotor/FSA mix
$875 GBPFor sale is my beloved Scott Foil 30. I am selling her to make way for a bike packing build I am currently putting together thorough cycle to work. I have owned her since new and have added some tactical upgrades. Most of which were fitted in 2018 just before my riding level dropped off a cliff so have seen 500km tops.
(I have decided to sell my carbon clinchers separately)
Condition wise she is in good condition with tactical helicopter tape fitted to both top and down tubes. Check out that shiny drive chain that is how I like to look after my bikes. She isn't mint but she is in very good condition. There are one or two very light grazes but these don't show up in the lovely matt paintwork.
So here is the spec as she stands

Dec 13, 2018Cannondale Synapse Alloy 5 105 road bike
$375 GBPUp for grabs is my all commuter/winter bike. I am selling it as I am moving house and will be going another route in future which demands something a little more robust. Its a size 56 and suits me well. I have dropped the bars to their lowest position but kept the steerer nice and long. I am tall in the body and wide in the shoulder so I have replaced the bars with 44cm compact drop Ritcheys and an 130mm Ritchey Stem.
The remainder of the specification is as follows,
Bottom bracket - FSA BB30, running smooth recently checked
Brakes - Tektro R539 dual pivot, plenty of life in the pads some minor pitting to the hardware
Cassette - Shimano Tiagra 4600 12-28, plenty of life left no real signs of wear
Chain - KMC X10, new as shown still has packaging oil on it. This may change dependent upon time before sale and how fast I find a replacement bike!!
Cranks - FSA Grossamer BB30 50/34 172.5mm, some making to crank ends chain rings in good condition
Fork - Synapse SAVe carbon - Good condition, nothing of note
Frame - 6061 aluminium good condition any marks covered with top coat
Front derailleur - Shimano 105, recently serviced & adjusted working perfectly maybe a small mark or two.
Handlebar - Ritchey ergomax comp 44cm, i think! fitting marks as expected
Hubs - Branded Me3,wheelset came from my other half's ridley. They are cartridge bearing and much more solid than the RS10's originally shipped with the bike. Hubs and free hub have a recent re-grease
Mudguards - SKS Bluemel with flaps from RAW, the only real down point to this bike. They have seen better days both have had breaks which have been fixed and are holding up well. Flaps are a must IMHO.
Pedals - Not included.
Rims - unbranded, no dishing so plenty of life left.
Rear derailleur - Shimano 105 short cage, a few marks here and there. Adjustment checked at service.
Saddle - Cannondale stage ergo, Specialized romin in the images will be replaced not shown in these images
Seatpost - Cannondale C3 carbon wrapped 27.2x300mm shows usual signs of clamping
Shifters - Shimano 105 a few marks to branding decals
Stem - Ritchey Logic 130mm
Bike is advertised elsewhere so may end early. It is listed as collection only, I may post as buyers cost but please be aware of the time of year!!
