Canfield Jedi w/ DVO Suspension (DREAM BIKE)

$5500 USD
XL black frame (i usually ride large DH bikes but this is perfect) with DVO green suspension links DVO Emerald fork - fork has a brand new rebuild ready to ride. I got one of the first batches of the DVO emerald when it came out. The first production run had an ever so slight amount of bushings knock that was barely noticeable. So, of course, I complained and they told me that they recalled some of the first forks due to the bushings being a tiny bit out of spec. I sent the fork in for the recall and they installed new bushings and did a full overhaul (seals, bushings, oil, etc.) even though I had only ridden it once or twice. DVO Jade rear shock (I'll have to check what weight spring I have on there) Shimano Saint brakes (8" rotors) Canfield 27.5" wheelset w/ tubeless rimstrip (already have it setup tubeless right now with zero burping issues.) MRP chain guide / bash guard XTR chain Saint rear derailleur short cage Chromag FUBAR handlebars (uncut) Short direct mount stem ( I think chromag but I will have to double-check) Maxxis high roller 2 tires with 9% tread left (set up with tubeless rim strip; stan's sealant, custom chrome schrader valves for the tubeless setup Saint shifter Xtr cassette Canfield 34t (might be 36t...need to check) chainring Raceface i-beam post/saddle I bought this bike in 2015 but did not receive it until May of 2016 (had to get on the waiting list). I used to race downhill when I was younger and eventually became highly competitive until I became ill with Lyme Disease (watch out for the ticks in the woods!). After being miserable, tired, sick, and in pain for almost 10 years I decided I wanted to try to ride again. So I built my dream bike. It was extremely expensive but I figured if I'm building my dream bike, why hold back? Unfortunately I do not have the stamina or money (every last penny from my job goes towards doctors bills and medications these days) to ride anymore. I still kind of want to keep this thing but I just can't justify the cost anymore. I work as a bicycle mechanic at Spokes Etc. in Fairfax and have been wrenching on bikes for over 13 years. I have kept this bike in immaculate condition. I took some pictures the other day but I was in a rush and have yet to clean the bike. It is a little bit dirty right now due to muddy conditions last time I was riding but I will perform a full overhaul on the bike before it is sold (we charge $275 for this service at my shop). We also just got an industrial grade ultrasonic cleaner...so the parts will be squeaky clean! It has only seen about a dozen downhill runs at Snowshoe. I will also help maintain this bike in the future if anything came up. All bearings are in perfect condition. I had the fork off due to the bushing recall and I also cleaned/greased the headset while it was off the bike. This bike is an XL. I was very worried it would be too big ( I had to order the frame without ever seeing it or sitting on it!) but it is absolutely perfect for my height (6'2"). Back when I had my 2008 Specialized Demo 8, I had a large and it fit well. My friend has one of the new Demo's in size long and it is perfect as well. I'm 6'2" but anyone around 6 feet and up should be very comfortable. I believe the direct mount stem I have on there is fully adjustable so you can tinker with the reach if you like. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I prefer private message. I still need to take some more pics after I overhaul/clean the bike.. I am flexible on the price as well. Also, I may consider parting it out but I will give you a much better deal if you buy it complete. Thanks
