Video: Petr Vinokurov Hits a 45 Foot Drop in Russia
What do you think a more realistic guess of the vertical to horizontal ratio would be given a 45’ hypotenuse? I was just basing it on road gaps I’ve seen in person. @sspiff:

He said it was 15m(45ft) diagonally from the edge of the ramp to the lip of the landing. Therefore if the hypotenuse is 45ft then the Vertical would be 20ft and the distance 40ft

S-Works Epic 29” (L) Lots of Upgrades

$2800 CAD
If you want to outrun covid, this is the ride for you! Super fast and light Edmonton river valley slayer. I’ve ridden it on a few 24hr races and did the BC bike race with it last year, it’s never let me down. Upgrades include: -2019 Fox 34 stepcast fork(120mm) -Newer Stans Crest ZTR wheels with Michelin wild grip’r tires. -Wheels manufacturing Epoxy in conversion to BB30 bottom bracket(no more creaks!) -RF Next cranks -Formula R1 carbon brakes(fresh bleed) -Enve carbon bar and carbon stem/seat post -Recent chain/cassette 11spd -SRAM XX1 derailleur and gripshift -Specialized command post dropper and rigid carbon post. -Crank Bros Candy 7 pedals -Rear BRAIN shock works perfectly The frame had all the bearings replaced 2 seasons ago and still feels fresh. With the wider tires, dropper and 120mm fork this bike was downcountry before downcountry was a thing lol. Bike weighs in under 24lbs. I have a few options for tires too.

Hey, beautiful bike! What model was it originally or was it built up from a frame? Any notable problems with it, is it due for a shock rebuild etc? I’m in Alberta but I know a few Squamish locals that could ship it to me if we get to that point. Are you around the next week or so if I can arrange someone to come check it out? Thanks! Rob

29” SID Brain 100mm

$475 CAD
Selling my 2012 RockShox SID 100mm fork. Based on the solo air but has Specialized Brain technology. It came factory on my S-Works Epic and featured all the lightweight tech, carbon steerer tube and crown etc. It has 9mm QR dropouts however steering is still quite sharp due to the shorter travel and carbon crown. Stanctions are mint and the lowers have some cosmetic scratches from tire rubs etc. steerer tube is cut to 7 3/8” from the lower race. I have a 29” 9mm QR front wheel I’m also selling and can work out a package price. The wheel has a Stans 3.30 hub and Stans crest rim. Comes with newish Specialized Renegade 29x2.3” tire setup tubeless.
