Thomas Genon and Anton Thelander Team up With Canyon
Young, unconventional, creative and talented: four characteristics that perfectly describe the slopestyle & dirt riders Thomas Genon and Anton Thelander. This spirit, but also their standing and know-how in the sport were the main reasons for Canyon to get the two athletes on board. Thomas Genon and Anton Thelander belong to the young generation of freeriders who have focused on dirt and slopestyle for a number of years. Their high spirits and aspirations provide a fresh impetus to the world of freeriding. The incredible potential of 19-year-old Thomas is obvious: Last season, the Belgian awed the bike community with his victory at the Red Bull Joyride in Whistler. By the end of the FMB World Tour 2012 season Thomas was ranked 3rd overall – an incredible achievement for such a young rider. At Nine Knights 2012, the Swedish rookie Anton Thelander impressed fellow professionals as well as experienced judges with his performance and won the "ruler of the week" award. For both athletes the partnership with Canyon is another important milestone in their young career.

Canyon founder and CEO Roman Arnold is thrilled with the two athletes: "With their positive attitude, Thomas and Anton convey their enthusiasm for the sport.
