Jun 18, 2023Canfield Tilt frame only (no shock)
$500 USDI'm selling my Canfield Tilt frame only -- no shock and no fork. The frame is their "goblin green" color.
The frame is in really great shape for having been ridden for 1.5 years in this area's rocky, technical desert terrain. There are no dents. There are a few small scratches here and there, such as where the chainstays meet the seat tube. I captured any scratches thoroughly in the photos.
I'm not leaving the Canfield fan club. Canfield came out with a new frame color for 2023 that grabbed me in the gut. So I bought the new frame and moved all my stuff over. So, I'm still riding a Tilt. These things are just that good.
The frame has a DyedBros brand adhesive frame protector on it in matte finish. In spots, where I wasn't able to get the frame protector to make seamless contact with the frame itself at install, a bit of dirt has collected on the exposed adhesive. I'm thinking the new owner might pull off the DyedBros wrap and start from scratch, revealing protected paint underneath. Yet I'm leaving the wrap in place in case whoever ends up being the buyer would prefer it. It looks sorta cool with the forest theme, depending on one's taste. And it's functional.
I'd love to see this frame gone. I'm in no hurry, yet it needs to be ridden! Anyone want it?

Aug 21, 2022Transition Spur GX terrific condition
$4200 USDI'm selling my 2021 Spur GX. I rode it for 8 months then bought something new, and the poor Spur has been hanging in my garage ever since. It's time for it to go to a better home.
The bike is as great as all of the reviews say. A current riding buddy of mine rides one, including on all the most demanding desert riding that Grand Junction / Fruita have to offer, and during bike park days, and loves it. It just turned out to be slightly too big for me. I ride a small typically. This is a medium. The cockpit is thus just a little too long. Plus, I like burly aluminum bikes.
The GX version is running $5,999 new right now. Please save some money and buy this bike from me.
The OEM spec is below. I changed nothing except swapping in a shorter Industry Nine stem. I'm happy to throw in the original RaceFace Aeffect R 50mm stem if you'd like to have it.
I encourage you to check out the geometry chart on the Transition website, if you haven't already, to be the sure the bike will meet your preferences.
I'd love to sell it locally in western Colorado or southeastern Utah. But if I end up with a remote buyer, I'll have it professionally disassembled, boxed, and shipped by my trusted local bike shop, and ask the buyer to pick up that tab.
There are a small handful of cosmetic blemishes. They're pretty minor. I captured all of them in the photos.
Who wants to give this bike a good home and ride the hell out of it!?

Aug 15, 2021Santa Cruz Bronson MX
$5000 USDI'm selling my like-new / brand new 2021 Santa Cruz Bronson MX, which comes from the factory as a mullet (29" wheel in front, 27.5" wheel in back). I bought it not quite 2 months ago -- June 21 of this year to be exact. I bought a medium when a size small might have been a better match for me. I think the bike might be happier with someone who it fits a hair better.
I've ridden it 15-20 times; it has 150 or so miles on it. Most of those miles have been on rocky trails, so there are a few paint scratches from rock strikes, the derailleur is scratched from passing through squeezer rock features, and the cranks have a couple of nicks from pedal strikes. The cranks also show some typical shoe rub. I've captured all of those minor cosmetic blemishes in the photos. I also had a high-speed wipeout resulting in some superficial scratching on the shifters and brake levers (and enough blood on the trail to appease the MTB gods for a minute). Those scratches are in the pics, too. Otherwise, the bike is in perfect like-new working order.
MSRP new on these is $5949. I bought this one from (the terrific) Bicycle Outfitters in Grand Junction, CO. After sales tax, it was nearly $6400 out the door. This is an opportunity to save someone upwards of $1000 total if the sales tax in your local area is anything like what we pay here.
I'm not in any hurry, but I'd love to see it go to a happy new home. Let me know if you're interested. Happy to ship it anywhere, though I'll ask you to pay for shipping.

Jul 21, 2021Transition Patrol 2 -- clean and mechanically sound
$1800 USDI'm selling the best bike I've ever owned. 2015 Transition Patrol 2 in orange. It features lots of upgrades and recent maintenance. It just came out of a professional tune up from my LBS. Front shock is newly serviced. (Rear is still new / only ridden four times.) Brakes bled, new chain, etc. It's ready to ride, dying to be someone's bike-park bike. Or if you live where the riding is tech and gnarly, this thing rocks.
Cosmetically you can tell that it's been ridden like it was designed to be ridden. There are plenty of cosmetic blemishes. But it is supremely clean. The only thing that might need to be replaced NEXT season is the tires. They've got good life left. (See photos.) I'd recommend riding them through the end of this season, get a feel for the bike, then decide what you want.
In the photos I attempted to capture all of the cosmetic blemishes to be fully transparent.

May 4, 2019NEW PRICE: Spot Brand Honey Badger great condition
$650 USDI'm selling my 2013 Spot Brand Honey Badger. The bike is in great shape, though it was ridden a ton for two seasons. Spot has discontinued them, but you can still find the glowing reviews.
It's the perfect single-speed frame. Standing on climbs, I could get full arm extension, crank on the handlebars, and generate maximum power. The geometry is just right. And it accommodates folks with short legs -- low standover -- probably 680 or so.
The best feature of this bike: what they called their "animal leg" chain stay. The marketing claim was that it took the sting off bumps. But man it's true -- i never ceased to be amazed at the stuff I could stay seated over. This wasn't my first steel hardtail, but it's definitely the one with the most compliant rear end.
I have it set up with Spot's carbon rigid fork, which I think is a Whisky fork rebranded. I also have the original Manitou Tower Comp front shock that I'm including in the sale. I had it rebuilt a couple of years ago but it's been sitting packaged up since.
Oh, and it's a belt drive. I may miss that the most.
Features:
-- steel frame
-- Sun Ringle hubs and wheels
-- Vittoria Sagauro tires front and back, tubeless
-- Avid Elixir 5 brakes
-- Gates Carbon belt drive
-- FSA headset
-- Truvativ stem
If someone from far away wants it, i'll split the shipping with ya. I'd really like it to go to a good home with someone who'll really appreciate and ride it.
