I'm selling my size small, blue, 2007 Specialized SX Trail 3 as a full bike (specs below) or frame only. This bike can do it all, whether trail riding, shuttling, or a day at the bike park. The key to its versatility is the adjustable fork. When the fork is lowered, the travel is 140mm and the head tube angle steepens to around 67.5° allowing for efficient climbing. Extend the fork to 180mm and the head tube angle slackens out to 65° making this bike a downhill weapon. The bike hasn't been ridden since September of 2015, and I have exclusively used the bike for trail riding over the past 5 years. Prior to this, it was used for some shuttling (approximately 20 rides total) and has seen 4 days in the Whistler bike park. It is in fair condition with everything in good working order, but it does have wear and tear that you would expect from a bike this age. I have commented on the condition of each component in specs below where appropriate. The bike was routinely serviced by professionals at my lbs. The fork and shock were serviced in August 2014, and the suspension bearings were inspected and replaced as needed prior to the 2015 riding season. It has been an amazing bike for me, but I have moved on to a trail bike. I am willing to sell as frame/shock/headset only for $700. Will be fully serviced prior to purchase. Scratches on frame, cable rub on head tube, and scratches on lower chainstay from chain-slap. No dents or cracks. fork: 07' Marzocchi 66ATA. Fully adjustable travel anywhere from 140mm-180mm, rebound and compression adjustments. Some scuffs on fork legs, and a couple minor scratches on the right fork stantion, but absolutely no oil leeking. No dents. Serviced by Marzocchi Canada in August 2014. shock: 07' Fox DHX coil, 170mm travel, 350 lb coil, rebound and propedal adjustments, serviced in August 2014 by suspension works in North Van. headset: Cane Creek 110 purple, purchased in 2014, excellent condition wheels: Azonic Outlaw, 26". Recently trued. Flat spot on rear wheel that does not affect performance or pose safetry hazard according to lbs mechanics. brakes: Hayes Stroker Trails, 180mm rear and front rotors. Fully serviced as of July 2016 and feeling great. cranks: Shimano Saint, with single 34 T chainring, Gamut bashgaurd/chainguide, scratches on crank arms cassette: 9 speed. Still shifting exceptionally well, but chain is near the end of its life so will likely have to replace chain and cassette within a season or two of riding depending on usage. rear derailer: Sram X-9, purchased in 2013, excellent condition. stem: Truvativ Holzefeller, 50mm handelbars: Chromag Fubar OSX, uncut 780mm, purple, purchased in 2014, like new, no scratches grips: Easton lock-ons, excellent condition. seatpost clamp: Chromag, purple, purchased in 2013, excellent condition seatpost: syncross saddle: Chromag Trailmaster DT, white tires: 2.3 Specialized Clutch front and 2.2 Specialized Purgatory rear. pedals: Kona wah-wah extras: 3 very lightly used DH tires: two, size 2.5, dual-ply DH Maxis Minion, and one size 2.35 Kenda Nevegal DH.
