This is the year. My new ride, a Pivot Mach 6. The last bike I purchased was in 1998 (Specialized FSR Ground Control). I'd say this is a step up in the world.

Pivot Mach 6 - Medium

$3200 USD
2015 Pivot Mach 6C, purchased in Nov of 2014 and cared for ever since. It was the XT/XTR build, Drivetrain has been upgraded to the following: Brand New: Box Components 1X11 Shifter (I have the original shifters, it came with a front shifter and derailleur, which I can toss in as well, but it took it off to go 1-by) Box Components 46-10 11 speed Cassette Box Components 11 speed rear derailleur RaceFace Turbine Crank and BB Not brand new, but good condition: XT brakes RaceFace 6C Carbon bars 780mm Loaded Precision shorty 35mm stem The handle bars are upgraded as well, RaceFace SixC carbon bars 780mm. Stem, upgraded as well to the shortest one Loaded makes, this is a really nice stem. Original headset, and KS Lev Integra seatpost. The elbow that guides the cable around the brake lever is broken, although still functional. I have been using it as is for a while, but I have the replacement part and will include it as well. Original Fox Float X rear shock, fresh tune, and not a ding on her. The fork is a RockShox Pike, upgraded from the original Fox 34 in 2015. Fresh tune as well. Wheels are original, DT Swiss Spline 1 setup tubeless. Tires are Maxxis Aggressor up front, Michelin Wild Rock’r X in the back. There are a few scratches on the frame, as it was used, although I laid protective tape along the undercarriage of the whole frame. It is still there today. Other than the normal wear and tear, the one thing to point out is the top-coat has come off a portion of the rear triangle. I can’t figure out why and have been told not to worry about it, it’s just clear-coat, but I tried to capture it in one of the pics where all the linkage comes together. Buyer pays actual shipping cost.

Dainese Oak Hard Evo Elbow Gaurds Pads - M

$45 USD
Size Medium - Buyer pays shipping. Composite elbow protection, with protective sandwich made of rigid articulated polypropylene plates combined with expanded polyethylene. The protection is integrated in a supporting structure made of soft biaxial elasticated fabric and is provided with an adjustment system with straps and elastic bands. Breathable biaxial elasticated fabric Perforated pads Bi-axial elasticated mesh support system Synthetic polymer used to produce the stiff shell in protectors. Distinguished by elevated resistance to abrasion and impact. Very light, and completely watertight. A rigid external plastic shell absorbs and distributes impact energy over the protector’s entire surface thanks to a patented reticulate structure that also offers lower thickness and weight. The inside of the protector in high-density polyethylene foam has elevated deformability and high shape memory retention that ensures greater comfort through adaptation to the wearer’s body, which is also served by perforation on the outside that increases breathability.

Alright folks, here it is. The bike you've been waiting for. The Trek Scratch was built to be ridden hard.
