CRUD 2 MUD Presented By Kokanee Is Back In Whistler
You think you’re the fastest on the snow and the dirt? Don’t pack away your skis and boards just yet because the chance to prove yourself as the master of dual-sport days is almost here! The legendary CRUD 2 MUD race is back at Whistler Blackcomb on May 24. Ski or Snowboard from the top of Whistler Mountain to the bottom of the snow line, then hop on your bike and rip though the Whistler Mountain Bike Park down to the Village. Ski boot biking is optional.

In true Whistler style, Kokanee will be hosting après at the GLC after the race. Come on out for the ultimate celebration of dual-sport days in Whistler!

These photos are from the transition from ski/snowboard to bike. Weary legs have generally kicked in by this stage.

You have two options. You can either enter as team and have one member ski/snowboard and the other bike. Alternatively you can take on the true Crud 2 Mud challenge and compete solo.

There was definitely a guy in a unicorn costume last year, it was beautiful. Definitely a super fun event, and worth doing solo at least once to experience that kind of pain and confusion in the transition. If you live close by, and enjoy skiing/snowboarding/biking this should definitely be on your bucket list.
